  • New Hope for Children (NHFC), a registered DBA of New Hope Christian Services, facilitates adoptions exclusively in
    Russia and accordingly consider ourselves Russian adoption specialists, as we very well understand the process in all
    regions we work in and are intimately familiar with Russian culture.

  • Since we only facilitate adoptions in one country, our specialized team can provide prospective parent(s) and our families
    a uniquely intimate experience via direct communication and by establishing personal relationships. No matter how many
    adoptions we process each year, our families are never treated like a number. Our staff is courteous and caring and walks
    you through each step of the adoption process.

  • Fifteen percent of our clients have had repeat adoptions with us and at least 50% of our clients are referred by families who have adopted through NHFC. Don’t just take our word; please contact us for a list of New Hope families that would be glad to share their experience with NHFC with you. And, our Parent Outreach Network coordinators are New Hope parents.

  • We have been working in Russia since 1993 (same original staff) and have developed long-standing relationships with Russian officials, thus typically have shorter waiting periods for referrals (depending on prospective parents health and sex requirements of the prospective adoptive child).

  • We believe in “no surprises” when it comes to disclosing fees to our parents. We include miscellaneous expenses (i.e. translators, drivers, transfers, etc.) and estimates of 3rd party fees in our fee schedule. NHFC constantly compares ourselves with other Russian adoption agencies to ensure we are providing a cost competitive adoption.

  • All U.S. staff have extensive experience in Russia. The Executive Director and Russian Programs Director of our U.S. office both hold Ph.Ds in Russian (fluent speakers), providing seemless communication with in-country staff. Also, the Executive Director and many of the board members have adopted from Russia themselves. 

  • We support our parents to prepare them for the “ups and downs” of international adoption and openly address issues that could come up before, during and after the adoption, We have our own social worker on staff that is always available to support the parents at all times.

  • We have all three necessary accreditations/registrations in Russia and as such we do not have to work through any other agency. We are not a part of any umbrella structure. In Russia we are registred as an NGO (Non Government Organization), accredited by the Ministry of Education and Science, and Hague accredited in the U.S. by the Council on Accreditation. 

  • In all of our years of facilitating Russian adoptions, we have never had an unsuccessful case, as long as parents stayed with the program.
