Travel Information

We understand that the idea of traveling to a foreign country can be scary. We have found that most families enjoy the travel even when they first thought they would not. Traveling is a wonderful part of your child’s adoption adventure. It is a rich cultural experience. In some countries, it is possible to have the child escorted. However, we strongly encourage families to travel whenever possible for their child.

No one will be left alone in a strange country with a language you do not speak. In each country, our staff will meet you at the airport and “hold your hand” through the process, and be there for you until your departure to fly home. As many of our families will gladly share with you, the experience was well worth doing. If other families are traveling at the same time, we will give you the names and numbers of these families.
